C3 2010 Ed Young Jr and Sr Tag Team

Here are the notes for #C3_2010 with Pastor Ed Young Jr and Ed Young Sr. doing a little question and answer session:

• Ed Young Jr asks Ed Young Sr questions for him to answer
• Everyone has a full staff…we must call forth the giftedness of those that are there
• Pastors should build into church…others voices to stay refreshed
• If you need to miss…miss the natural times…4th of July…other Non MAJOR holidays
• Ed Young Sr. just said he does NOT like to preach…the preparation is painful, the birthing is painful…and if he could do anything else he would
• Nothing will put a fire in what you do…and on the message then knowing there are people there that don’t know Christ.
• The people who we are really, really praying for will get saved…we must keep them before God
• Staff Meetings and Leadership Development
• It’s better to have nobody on your staff than somebody that is not above average.
• sometimes you micro-manage one area to put the fear of God in everyone….LOL
• They take staff through 2 weeks of 6 classes that are 2 to 3 hours each so they understand the organization
• Ed Young Jr. “How do you fire someone?” Ed Young Sr. “Quickly”
• Ed Young Sr. keeps files on each person…but when you fire you just say “your services are no longer needed” Don’t give a reason or you will be liable to absolutely prove in a court of law
• Ed Young Sr. put together a hand-picked team of men who were on the peripheral…to pray for him and each other…and partnered them together to be accountable
• Ed Young Sr. runs with the millionaires and billionaires but as a friend…he doesn’t ask them for anything…he even pays the way…
• The explosive growth happened in early church because during all the plagues…Christians would care for those that were sick…the pagans would move away but the church CARED
• Revival does not come through prayer…it comes through desperation…
